Michael D. Evans

Mr. Michael D. Evans is one of the most-viewed Middle East analysts in the United States, and is one of the most widely read authors in America on books on Israel. He is a New York Times, Time Magazine, B Dalton, and Barnes and Noble bestselling author.

In August 2004, Mr. Evans’ book, The American Prophecies, Terrorism and Mid-East Conflict Reveal a Nation’s Destiny, was released by Time Warner. It became a New York Times #4 bestseller, an Amazon.com #1 bestseller, a Barnes and Noble.com #1 bestseller, and a USA Today bestseller. The American Prophecies is a major U.S. work on how Christians have supported Israel, and the impact they have made on the nation.

Mr. Evans is the author of 24 books . His book, BEYOND IRAQ: THE NEXT MOVE was a New York Times bestseller in 2003. The book deals with the strategic changes that may take place in Iraq and the Middle East, and why.

Mr. Evans has produced and hosted 12 award-winning documentaries on the Middle East. He has written numerous articles on terrorism in the Middle East and Israel, and has covered many of the significant events that have transpired in the Middle East, including the 43rd General Assembly in Geneva in 1988 (where Yasser Arafat officially denounced terrorism), the Madrid Peace Conference in 1991, the White House Peace Accords in 1993, the State Funeral of Yitzhak Rabin, etc.

Mr. Evans has appeared on network programs such as Nightline, Good Morning, America, and on CNN, MSNBC, and is a regular guest on FOX Network. He has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Jerusalem Post, and other publications worldwide. As a public speaker, Mr. Evans has spoken to more than 4000 audiences around the world. In the last decade, he averaged an attendance of more than one million people per year at his meetings.

Mike Evans was one of a handful of journalists permitted in the press pool at the Royal Palace in Madrid, and was the first journalist to confront James Baker during that press conference. At the UN in Geneva, Mr. Evans challenged Yasser Arafat to renounce the PLO Covenant that calls for the destruction of the Jewish State. He was also among the journalists permitted to interview Mohammed Khalid, the commander of the Arab Multi-national forces during the Persian Gulf War in 1991.
